Australissian politics have been rocked in recent days as a result of a historic betrayal in the House of Commons. Just days away from the August chairmanship election, set to be held between the 9th and 11th of August, the Cupertino Alliance has seen several changes within its cabinet.  In a surprise announcement, the longstanding Minister of Asian and Oceanic Affairs, Daniel Hamilton of Australis, announced that he would be stepping down from the role after over 8 months in office. This resignation has resulted in Deputy Minister of Asian and Oceanic Affairs and election candidate Dhrubajyoti Roy of Vishwamitra taking office. Following Roy's succession, Jayden Dagsa of Novus Hierosolymis was appointed as the new Deputy Minister of Asian and Oceanic Affairs.
